SLOW MOVING WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

JUST 7 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s DOWN 2 sales (9) from the previous week, but UP 2 sales (5) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family home that sold in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood for more than $970,000. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 94% with ALL 7 homes selling BELOW there stated listing price. Our current inventory levels in the City of Penticton hover around 430+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 357 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +20%. Buyer’s are still FIRMLY in control of the marketplace at this point in time!
