A WELCOMED (AND UNEXPECTED) BURST OF HOME SALES THIS PAST WEEK IN PENTICTON!
A total of 17 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s UP 4 sales (13) from the previous week, and UP 7 sales (10) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family home that sold in the Uplands/Redlands area of Penticton for $4 million dollars. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 96%. This tells me that there are home sales being negotiated well off their intended target price. Our current inventory levels in the City of Penticton hover around 439+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 310 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +42%.
