Monday Market Report October 19 – 25, 2020

AND THE BEAT GOES ON…
ANOTHER SOLID WEEK OF HOME SALES TO FINISH OFF AUGUST!

In total, we sold 30 properties in Penticton over the past seven days, that’s only 6 less home sales vs. the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 30 purchases was just over $13 million dollars, down close to $10 Million dollars vs. the week before. The highest priced sale was a Single Family home on the West Bench which sold for more than $900,000. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week ended up at 98%. This is right in line with last week’s sales ratio of 98%. EVERY sales indicator that I use tells me that this is still a “BULLISH” resale market at this moment in time. Lots of “DEMAND” and not much “SUPPLY”. In fact, since the start of August we have sold 133 doors in Penticton. That’s an 80% increase in sales volume over August 2019 – pretty incredible – WOW!
