A BURST OF SALES ACTIVITY IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

20 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s UP 8 sales (12) from the previous week, and UP 9 home sales (11) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Full Duplex that sold on the North side of Penticton for more than $1.6 million dollars. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 98%, with ONLY 3 of the 20 homes of SELLING at or above there stated listing price. DID YOU KNOW that 54 homes hit the market last week? Much of this is attributed to homes being re-listed and coming back onto the market with price adjustments. Our current inventory levels hover around 440+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 312 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +41%.
