Monday Market Report September 13 – September 19, 2021

ANOTHER BUSTLING WEEK OF HOME SALES FOR THE PENTICTON HOUSING MARKET!

In total, another 35 homes changed hands this past week in the Penticton region, that’s UP 7 properties (28) from the week prior, but DOWN 8 sales (43) for the same week one year ago. The TOTAL value of these 35 sales was just over $17 million which is on par from the week prior. The highest priced sale was a Single-Family Home in the Upland/Redlands area of Penticton which had a “SOLD” price tag of more than $2.75 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual negotiated sales price for the week was 99%. 22 of the 35 homes sold this week were “AT OR OVER” the listing price. Sales volumes continue to stay “HIGH” for mid September, and the “Average Selling Price” tells me that SELLERS are still very much in control of this housing market.
