ANOTHER SLOW WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE PENTICTON REAL ESTATE MARKET!
JUST 11 properties were sold in PENTICTON this past week. That’s UP 2 sales from a week ago (when we sold 9 homes), but DOWN 3 property sales (14) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood which sold for $850,000. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 97%, with just 2 of the 11 properties selling at or over their stated listing price. Inventory levels in the City of Penticton continue to be advantageous for BUYER’S! We have 567 properties (of all types) “For Sale” right now in the city compared to 418 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in available inventory of +36% year over year.
