ANOTHER SLUGGISH WEEK FOR PENTICTON HOME SALES!
JUST 9 properties were sold in PENTICTON this past week. That’s DOWN 1 sale from a week ago (when we sold 10 homes), but DOWN a whopping 11 property sales (20) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood which sold for more than $860,000. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 96%, with ONLY 2 of the 9 properties selling at or over their stated listing price. Inventory levels in the City of Penticton continue to be advantageous for BUYER’S! We have 554 properties (of all types) “For Sale” right now in the city compared to 418 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in available inventory of +33% year over year.
