Monday Market Report March 16-22, 2020

ANOTHER RELATIVELY REASONABLE WEEK (AMONGST ALL THE UNCERTAINTY) FOR HOME SALES IN PENTICTON……In total, we sold 16 homes in the past seven days, which is 5 less sales (21) vs. the output of homes sold the week prior. THE TOTAL VALUE of these 16 purchases was just over $7.8 million dollars, which is short by about $1.4 million ($9.2 million) vs. the week before. The highest priced purchase was a Condo on Lakeshore Drive which sold for more than $850,000. The difference between listing price and sales price was 96% for the week. Not withstanding the uncertainty surrounding Covid 19 in the coming weeks and months, all of my key indicators point towards the housing resale market moving towards being a “SELLERS MARKET”!
