Monday Market Report March 23-29, 2020
HAVE FAITH SELLERS AND BUYERS…WE’VE NOT YET COME TO A “GRINDING HALT” FOR HOME SALES IN PENTICTON!……In total, 14 homes have been sold in the past seven days, which is only 2 less sales (16) vs. the output of homes sold the week prior. THE TOTAL VALUE of these 14 purchases was just over $6.1 million dollars, which is about $1.7 million ($7.8 million) less vs. the week before. The highest priced purchase was a Single Family home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood which had a purchase price of more than $1,200,000. The difference between listing price and sales price was 95% for the week. It’s apparent that SELLERS are willing to take less for their homes with all the uncertainty surrounding Covid 19. STILL, all of my key indicators point towards the housing resale market moving towards being a “SELLERS MARKET”! If you have been following this weekly post, then you UNDERSTAND that NOW might be the BEST time to buy your new home!
Here’s the breakdown of sales by property “type” for this past week (March 23rd to March 29th)
