Monday Market Report March 9 – 15, 2020
THE SECOND WEEK OF MARCH WAS BRISK FOR HOME SALES IN PENTICTON……In total, we sold 21 homes in the past seven days, which is 7 more sales (14) vs. the output of homes sold the week prior. THE TOTAL VALUE of these 21 purchases was just over $9.2 million dollars, which is double ($4.5 million) vs. the week before. The highest priced purchase was a Single Family home in the Wiltse neighbourhood which sold for more than $775,000. The difference between listing price and sales price was 97% for the week. Not withstanding the uncertainty surrounding Covid 19 in the coming days and weeks, all of my key indicators point towards the housing resale trend moving towards a SELLERS MARKET!
